Off-white ceramic pour-over cone with a small built-in scale display, centred on a biscuit-coloured background

A Portuguese-made ceramic pour-over cone with the scale built in. One number instead of two devices.

One object on the counter, one number in the brew.

Brewscale puts a load cell and a two-digit display inside the cone, so the coffee and the water are weighed in the same place you pour. You tare, pour to your number, and repeat it tomorrow without a second device on the counter.

Our story

Why a cone with a scale inside

Most home brewers already own a gooseneck kettle and buy whole beans from a local roaster. What they lack is a way to make the same cup twice without moving between a scale and a dripper. Brewscale merges the two into a single ceramic object, made in Portugal, so the weight is read where the pour happens.

Why Brewscale

Weighs as you pour

Embedded load cell reads coffee and water live during the pour, no separate scale.

Made in Portugal

Ceramic body fired by a Portuguese maker. Clay and glaze suppliers named before tooling.

One repeatable number

Follow a single target weight per brew. No app, no account, no ecosystem to maintain.

Fits your setup

Standard 02 filters, 15 to 30 g dose, base sits on mugs and carafes from 75 to 110 mm.

Questions

Waitlist members hear about every change first.

When can I pre-order?

Waitlist members hear first. We are not announcing a ship date until the prototype path is closed.

Why €89?

We will publish the bill of materials logic before pre-orders open.

Does it need an app or a phone?

No. The display shows weight; the buttons tare and switch g/oz. There is no account, no pairing and no firmware ecosystem to maintain.

Which filters and mugs does it take?

Standard 02-size paper filters. The base footprint fits mugs and carafes with a rim diameter from 75 mm to 110 mm.

Where is it made?

The ceramic cone is made in Portugal. We will name the maker and the clay and glaze suppliers once contracts are signed, before tooling spend.

How accurate is the scale, and how is it powered?

The spec fixes the load cell, two-digit display and controls; accuracy target, battery or charging, and water resistance are published when the prototype is validated. Check the spec page for updates.
